Ridge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 (USA)

This 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is saturated purple in colour with aromas of cassis, blueberry, cola, liquorice and sweet oak. Ripe Blackberry fruit entry, full bodied, rich textures, exotic spice roasted coffee and toasted oak aftertaste. Pairs well with Beef, Lamb, Game & Poultry.

Prunotto Barolo Bussia 2015

This Barolo has an intense garnet red in colour with ruby highlights and with aromas of very ripe berry and cherry fruit combined with floral and spicy notes. Powerful flavours with supple and ample tannins and a long finish and aftertaste. Its full body and significant structure make it an ideal match for meat, game, and cheese.

Prunotto Occhetti Langhe Nebbiolo 2018

Occhetti is garnet-tinged ruby red in colour with good intensity. Its nose is elegant with notes of raspberries, roses and liquorice. The palate is ample, balanced and with a great tannic persistence.

The Occhetti pairs well with charcuterie, mild firm cheese, tomato pasta dishes, and lighter meats.  

Calliou Cotes de Rhone Quartz 2018

Caillou Cotes du Rhone Quartz, a medium bodied red from Southern Rhone. Based on 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah that comes from vines just around the estate in the eastern sector of Châteauneuf du Pape. 

Pairs well with grilled foods, mild asian, charcuterie and cheeses such as cheddar as well as ripe varieties.  

This would easily pass undetected in a blind lineup of top Châteauneuf du Papes.

Pinta DO Toro 2016

From Vega Sicilia, Pintia compares with the best from Ribera del Duero and Rioja.  This is a full body wine to pair with meats, robust dishes, or a hard sheep's milk cheese.  Earthy, dark fruits, minerals.

Antinori Tignanello 2019

 Tignanello is a deep ruby red, produced with a selection of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes.

The Tignanello 2019 displays notes of strawberries and pomegranate that give way to delicate aromas of apricots and peaches, accompanied by vanilla, dried flowers, chocolate, and nutmeg. Its bouquet is completed by notes of coffee, caramel, and aromatic Mediterranean herbs. A graceful and mouth-filling palate presents silky, vibrant tannins and imparts liveliness, sapidity, and a lengthy flavour profile. The aftertaste features notes of roasted coffee and dark chocolate.  Pairs well with red meats.

Jean-Michel Guillon Chambolle Musigny 2015

Gentle wood notes add breadth to the pure pinot fruit and lifted, floral characters. Refined, energetic and beautifully well-detailed with fine length and depth.


Father Jean-Michel and son Alexis still work the vineyards themselves all year round. They demand nothing less than perfectly ripe fruit, which allows them to make long, slow, intense fermentations running 3-5 weeks – extracting tons of flavour and only the silkiest of ripe tannins.


Ferraton Crozes-Hermitage Les Picheres

A great entry to Northern Rhone, from the house of Ferraton, now under the watchful eye of Chapoutier.  Medium in body, great flexibility with smoky barbecue, peppery dishes, strong hard cheeses, and even blue!  

Domaine Michelot Santenay 1ER cru 'La Comme'

Six generations in the Cote de Beaune area of Burgundy, Michelot offers a great entry into this world famous region.  Light in weight, yet muscular, this holds up well to red or white meats, potato dishes, and all types of cheese.  Notes of cherries and  fresh flowers.

Luis Seabra, Xisto Cru Tinto, 2017

Very fresh and structured with firm tannins, good acidity, and great concentration of flavour. Taut and structured with nice freshness and great potential.

Gran Reserva 904, La Rioja Alta

Intense, deep cherry-red with a garnet-red rim. Intense and complex aromas, domi- nated by fruit (blackberry jam, raspberries and orange zest) that reveals underlying spicy and balsamic notes of cigar box, cedar liquorice, cloves, chocolate mints and toasted wood. Elegantly refined entry. Fresh and lively in the mouth, nicely bal- anced with polished, silky tannins and a gentle, delicate finish. Very long aftertaste, with citrus and balsamic notes that provide long, complex final sensations. Perfectly paired with Lamb, Beef, jamón and  even chocolate cake!

Pommarad Les Vignots, Xavier Monnot

This delicious Pommard comes from a very small parcel of .85 hectares, called ”Les Vignots” which is made up of clay and limestone soil typical to the region. This wine is firm, but not overly tannic, with a good amount of fruit.
